IRAN FIGHTER INTERCEPTS US WAR SPY DRONE OVER PERSIAN GULF

PERSIAN GULF US WAR DRONE CONFRONTED BY IRAN FIGHTER

WASHINGTON: An Iranian fighter jet tried to intercept a US Predator drone over the Persian Gulf but backed off after encountering two US military aircraft, the Pentagon says.

No shots were fired in the confrontation on Wednesday, officials said, but the United States renewed a vow that it would protect its forces in the region.

The Pentagon initially said one of the US aircraft discharged a flare as a warning to the Iranian plane but officials later said no flare was let off.

The incident, which the Pentagon said took place over ”international waters,” highlighted the tensions between the two arch-foes and the risks of an accidental clash escalating into a serious crisis.

M.A.V. THE WAY OF FUTURE WARFARE SPYING & SURVEILLANCE SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO

MICRO AIR VEHICLES TO BE & ARE HAPPENING ON A GRAND SCALE

That innocent looking bird on the powerlines may not be what you think.

The bird could be a video cam structured to look like a bird and can be powered by the power-lines it sits on & therefore could be doing a surveillance job for weeks at a time.Next time you see a bird on a power-line, look closer it may be a MAV spy cam on the wing. It could possibly deliver germs, micro bomb or carry out assassinations with miniature weaponry

VIDEO PF MICRO FLYING ROBOT WITH CLAWS SNATCHING PREY IN MID FLIGHT

Here’s something you don’t see everyday: a Micro Unmanned Aerial vehicle (MAV) that can grab objects on the fly with all the elegance of an eagle snatching a fish from the water’s surface. Although MAVs and UAVs are increasingly being equipped to pick up, transport, and drop off payloads, we’ve never seen this incredibly precise form of grasping on the fly replicated – until now.

The similarity to an eagle’s hunting ability is no coincidence – University of Pennsylvania research team members Justin Thomas, Joe Polin, Koushil Sreenath and Vijay Kumar, programmed the quadrotor MAV based on observations garnered from nature videos...

ROBOTIC CREATURE THAT MOVES ON BOTH LAND & WATER SWIFTLY

Salamandra robotica II moves

quickly on both land and water

Scientists have often taken inspiration from the animal world in robotic designs, with bots modeled after fish, sandfish lizards, and even sea turtles. Such biomimicry makes sense – if you want a robot to move a certain way, why not look to creatures that already can? With the Salamandra robotica II, researchers have tried to replicate the movement of a salamander in designing a robot that can walk or crawl on land as easily as it swims in the water.

BEING PARANOID ABOUT SPY DRONES CAN BE GOOD

GREAT TO BE PARANOID ABOUT SPY DRONES

His mind restored by sleep, his bladder finally emptied, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul gave his first interview after a 12-hour drone-policy filibuster to an awed Glenn Beck.

“This man is going to be the logical choice for president of the United States,” Beck told his listeners, just after 10:30 a.m. “He is reasonable, polite, and I believe in a teaching mode right now.” Paul was telling Americans that they “have the right to live, and to have a trial, and to have a warrant. Not just to be killed, gunned down in the streets, or in this case, killed by a drone, because this president or any president says, yeah, take him out.”

The last time most people saw Glenn Beck, he was hosting a Fox News show renowned for its use of a mobile blackboar...
